Tiny Ruins are a New Zealand based project near and dear to David Lynch’s heart. Their collaboration all started when Lynch tweeted “Dear Twitter Friends, I heard a group I really like called Tiny Ruins. You should check this out.” Who knew that years later this would lead to Lorde uniting them to work together for the Hunger Games soundtrack? While the track never made the score, Lynch and Hollie Fullbrook created a tranquil, folksy single that’ll send shivers down your spine while dreaming of an ethereal landscape.
