Daniel Davies

Whether scoring a film or making a solo album, Daniel Davies thinks cinematically. Images and story—on a movie screen, on a canvas, or flashing through his mind—inform the shape of his compositions and the sounds he uses to bring them to life. He's collaborated with his godfather, John Carpenter, for several years, including on the soundtrack to 2018's Halloween, and he's a prolific solo artist in his own right. Signals is his first LP for Sacred Bones.
