In celebration of Anja Huwe's long awaited return to the stage Sacred Bones is releasing remixes by German band No More - well-known for their indie-classic "Suicide Commando” - of two early Xmal Deutschland singles.
"Die Wolken" transforms the track into a sleek, stripped-back electro anthem, seamlessly blending post-punk’s moody intensity with a sharper, dancefloor-ready edge. The track pulses with a minimalist groove, driving its hypnotic rhythm forward while retaining the dark, brooding undercurrent that defines its post-punk roots.
"Schwarze Welt" takes a completely different turn, embracing a moody trip-hop rhythm that envelops the track in a hypnotic, downtempo vibe. While the original’s raw punk energy is still present in the vocal delivery, it's now interwoven with ethereal, atmospheric layers brought to life by shimmering synths. This reimagined version drifts between worlds, balancing the grit of its punk origins with a more dreamlike ambient quality.
