A Full Cosmic Sound
With more than 10 years of experience and numerous albums released, A Full Cosmic Sound (AFCS) is released on LP 12" for the first time, with a selection of its best compositions and also unpublished material. In recent years with a stable group, the band shows a much more controlled and enveloping sound than in its previous recordings, a sound exercise developed through the mixture of harmonies, frequencies, drones and repetitions generated by instruments such as keyboards, synthesizers, bass, guitars and multiple effects. This album evokes the rhythmic and deconstructive explorations of local bands like Los Jaivas, also certain ambient passages of Popol Vuh, the psychological sound explorations of Throbbing Gristle, Sonic Youth, Experimental Audio Research, and the echoes of the busy urban sound landscape research in Chile.
