Picky Picnic was a Japanese experimental pop band whose sound is most closely similar to The Residents and Ptose. Quirky compositions with rinky-dink keyboards, drum machines, acoustic instruments and tape manipulations. Originally released on cassette only in 1982 featuring songs recorded from ’81 to ’82.
