Sydney four-piece Naked On the Vague follow up their Clock of 12’s EP on Sacred Bones with a double A-side single moving even further towards “Stadium Goth” territory. Definitely a shift in production values, moving from the Chrome-esque psychedelic murk of their 2010 Siltbreeze LP Heaps of Nothing to a, dare I say it, a more accessible sound. NOTV manage to fill the gap between the bleak, post-punk of Bauhaus and the sci-fi boogie-rock of Blue Oyster Cult. Out now on R.I.P Society Records.
