“Fishage” is the debut release by Beaters, three members of the former garage/punk/soul San Diego favorites the Sess, who disbanded after a 7-inch and album on Single Screen Records (who we’re coreleasing this 7-inch with) and a 7-inch on Slovenly Records. Their brand of “pre-apocalyptic” mutant punk and their tightly-controlled live chaos has earned them a fast reputation as one of the best bands in San Diego right now. Personally, I’m very proud to be a part of this.
